I have a mid-2007 intel-based imac and am trying to install new memory modules. However, I am having trouble removing the one installed originally. I pulled the tab but that does not work. Any suggestions?

Pull a little harder on the tab.
You have some good answers already. Pulling the tab a little harder is a good one but make sure you've untucked the tabs as they are tucked in.
