I Have already tried Edit>Preferences>devices> to get my previously backed up phones Serial Numbers and it only gives me my number.

Long story short, I go through Iphones like a person goes through toilet paper when having diarrhea.

My iphone was stolen 6 months ago, a day before my birthday. It was custom colored. Today, I found it on craigslist for sale. I know it's mine because I'm the only one to have such a unique combination of colors on the phone.

I have had two iphones since then, and I can't pull up the Serial number through Itunes. Is there anyway I can retreive the entire history of serial numbers for my iphones?

At&T claims they can't pull up that far back of history..I have the back up still on my computer, and I know the date. The police officer retreived my phone from the kid, and is holding it for me until I can prove it's mine..

Please help!

If you have access to your computer, but not your iPhone

Open iTunes and mouse over a device backup:

Open Preferences in iTunes. (In Mac OS X, choose iTunes > Preferences. In Windows, choose Edit > Preferences.)

Click the Devices tab.

Position the mouse over a backup to display the phone number, serial number, and IMEI or MEID of the backed-up iPhone.

Getting the information from the iPhone packaging

If you still have the device's original packaging, you can find your iPhone serial number and IMEI or MEID printed on the barcode label that's affixed to the packaging.
