how to restore an ipod touch

Hey there! I have one ipod touch that I've found at the bus while travelling, I'm already an user of iphone and ipod touch my self, I've posted signs asking if any one lost it but didn't say the color of the protection cover just to be sure the owner was the real owner, anyways 2 weeks have past and no real owner have called so i will like to know if is possible to restor it
