Removing items from dock
Textedit and the terminal app seem stuck on the dock and won't disappear even when moved out onto the desktop. I just don't want my dock getting too crowded and would like them to get off the dock, please help.
MacBook Pro
Click and keep the mouse button pressed down on the offending item. Options will come up. Release mouse and go to options which will include 'remove from dock'. Action whichever you want.
