Siri for iPad 2 in iOS 6

Why can't apple get Siri to iPad 2 ,seriously come on it has a A5chip and it is quiet powerful if an iPhone 4s can have it ,which still has a A5 chip?and in ios 6 they give the new iPad Siri and not iPad 2. I'm seriously I'm so disappointed with apple.i hope in future it comes or why not just in ios 6.0.

Very sure of myself yes - and I'm 110, no 120% certain they've gone in a different hardware direction with the iPhone 5, the Audience chipset is so 2011, no one uses that junk anymore.

I didn't say my friend was an Executive, you made that bit up, which actually leads me to question what other things you've gone around making up on these forums.

I'm not going to argue with an insider :). Your friend might be Tim cook or the janitor, I don't know. The noise reduction could be spot on! Siri could "technically" work on the iPhone 4 and original iPad too. Let's say that is true. Look at apples track record and how they strive for perfection. If Siri works on older generation models, but doesn't live up to apples satisfaction, they will not release it for those models. Just because someone hacked it onto their iPad 2 doesn't mean it will work "well". Might work well at home, but try a train station. Apples stringent oN that stuff, past track records speak for themselves.

Happens dude with evey company. There will be some defects. I've had defective phones from Motorola, routers from net gear, and tvs from Samsung. Just the other day I bought an airport extreme that would drop Internet every 2-5 minutes. After hours of troubleshooting I returned it. The new one works flawless. You are going to have defects even without apple.

Reasons why to buy iPad 2 and not the new iPad:

- Thinner

- Lighter

- Still has Retina Display which is very good

- $100 cheaper

Reasons why to buy the new iPad and not iPad 2:

- Better graphics

- Faster

- Siri

If Siri would also come to the iPad 2, trust me, most of people would prefer the iPad 2 over the new iPad.

Siri available for:

- iPhone 4S or higher (no 4)

- The new iPad (no 2)

- iPod Touch 5 (no 4)

They brought Siri to only the latest devices.

No it does not.

Why should I?

What are your qualifications that should trust you?

Then why did the iPad3 sell like hotcakes before it was even announced that iOS 6 would not give Siri to the iPad2?

And the iPad 3 does not have Siri now, why are people buying it?
