Siri for iPad 2 in iOS 6

Wow, you really believe everything apple feeds you? Apple KNOWS it will work. BUT They want you to spend money on a new device EVERY year...is that so hard to understand?

what does the noise cancellation have to do with anything? Siri worked fine as an independent app with recognizing your voice before Apple bought it

Nah, it worked OK but not in areas with background noise such as walking down the street or in the back of a taxi. When Apple bought Siri they also bought Audience which has a chipset/algorithm to significantly improve voice recognition even with heavy background noise. Apple has made the choice (and probably a wise one) to only offer Siri in conjunction with this technology.

A question for those in the know...when Siri is implemented on the new iPad with iOS 6, can you fully disable it? Could you on the iPhone 4S? Not having an iPhone 4S, I never used it/missed it & doubt I will ever use it on my new iPad.

settings > general > siri

turn it off there

it will be replaced by the normal voice control

Then what is the point of all these posts when you are late to the party anyway?

I made one comment saying that its kind of ridiculous that an iPad needs to have Navigation. What is the purpose of that?
