Jul 6, 2012 12:58 AM in response to nikhil.bustedby AnaMusic,★HelpfulLion is a hungry beast...You have the Minimum amount of RAM installed...
This is just a suggestion... But... Have you considered increasing the RAM to the maximum your Mac will take...
See Here for RAM > http://www.macsales.com/
See Here for Installing > http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1651
It is important to get the Correct and Matching RAM.

Jul 6, 2012 1:46 AM in response to nikhil.bustedby EoinDM,I know there are many tutorial videos and manuals on how to install the RAM once you get it, but realistically, is it easy/hard to do?
Or should I just bring it to a repair shop if I have no experience with doing it?

Jul 6, 2012 2:11 AM in response to AnaMusicby EoinDM,Macbook Pro 5,5 13"
It does seem straight forward from the link you posted above. Am I right in thinking that I'm better off just getting 2GB extra and filling both memory slots?
I'm all the way over in Ireland, but the $ price seems great value for an extra 2GB. Didn't think it was that inexpensive until now! -

...For best performance, don't mix sizes; always install two identical memory modules...

So best to get 2 x 2 GB sticks of RAM... giving you a total of 4 GB...
And be sure to get the Correct and Matching RAM for your MBP.
