Macbook running slow...need help

I have a macbook that is running very slow...


Processor: 2.26 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo

Memory: 2GB 1067 MHz DDR3

Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce 9400M 256MB

Software: Mac OS X Lion 10.7.4 (11E53)

Storage: 127.23 GB free out of 249.2 GB


I've tried reinstalling the osx, repairs from disk utility...

MacBook, Mac OS X (10.7.4)

Maybe you can to clear or format all the unecessary folder or stuff. Sometimes certain stuff may make the file or application makes the programm running slow. Like me, last time I used to have many application. When I delete all this application and stuff, my macbook running better. On your problem maybe it different and try to format the macbook.

It does seem straight forward from the link you posted above. Am I right in thinking that I'm better off just getting 2GB extra and filling both memory slots?

I'm all the way over in Ireland, but the $ price seems great value for an extra 2GB. Didn't think it was that inexpensive until now!

For best performance, don't mix sizes; always install two identical memory modules...

So best to get 2 x 2 GB sticks of RAM... giving you a total of 4 GB...


And be sure to get the Correct and Matching RAM for your MBP.
