Q: Forgot security questions

Welcome to the Apple Community.

Start here, and reset your password, you will receive an email with your new password, then go to manage your account > Password and Security and change your security questions.

If that doesn't help you might try contacting Apple through iTunes Store Support

yes i tried that but i didnt recieve the email. i tried a couple of times after that but still end up with the same result

what happeneds if u dont remember ur answers to ur security questions..?

they lock your account apparently, it's so dumb.

I received the e-mail but when you log in, in order to change your security questions ...you have to answer them first!!!

i recieved the email too! but then when you go on mange accountyou need to type in your security questions to change your security questions! Apple need to understand that its not the Apple ID password we've forgotten but the SECURITY QUESTIONS!

I've been locked out on my iTunes account for weeks for this same reason. I've had to create a new iTunes account just to get access to these forums so I can get support.

Is there a fix to this, I've spent hundreds of pounds on apps over the last few years and I still have credit on my account.

Apple have basically told me there's nothing they can do to give me access again.

I got some help from an apple assistant on the phone.

It is kind of round about way to get in

Here is what he said to do and it is working for me...

1) on the device that is asking you for the security questions go to "settings", > "store" > tap the Apple ID and choose view"Apple ID" and sign in.

2) Tap on payment information and add a credit/debit card of your preference then select "done", in the upper right corner

3) sign out and back into iTunes on the device by going to "settings"> "store" > tap the Apple ID and choose "sign-out" > Tap "sign -in" > "use existing Apple ID" and you should be asked to verify your security code for the credit /debit card and NOT the security questions.

4) At this time you can remove the card by going back in to edit the payment info and selecting "none" as the card type then saving the changes by selecting "done". You should now be able to use your iTunes store credit without answering the security questions.

It's working for me ...I just have to put in my 3 digit security pin from the credit card I am using.

what if you dont have a Card tho then what

Tysvm this has worked for me even though i do not have a credit card.  My mum put hers in and then deleted now i can download and do not have to answer security questions.

I forgot my security questions and I can't download music or apps with knowing them. How do I chagrin them?
