In-app purchases will not work it want me to contact iTunes support

Did you follow the instructions in the message and contact Apple, which you can do via iTunes Store Support
I did contact iTunes support and they are yet to get back to me for two weeks...
Have you finally been able to get any help from iTunes support?
I am having the same problem that you had, and I can see how many people have already asked this question in this community, but I can't find anyone confirming they got this issue cleared.
