Hi I recently purchased the Macbook Pro with Retina Display. I noticed that there is a verticle line running from each side of the screen. I doesn't seem to affect the display quality. I just wanted to know if anyone else has it and if it could lead to a problem in the future...

There has been reports of ghost/shadowing left on displays. There are several posts in the forum that other users have reported. Apple will work on it I'm sure.

I bought a MBP with retina yesterday. There are some signs about low quality of display. I have two brightening vertical line in middle of display, and right side of display has little bit different colour (mainly white) liken left side.
The APR doesn't want change this machine.
I think about Apple uses worse and worse displays in last years. You can find that picture about phenomenon here:

Two days ago the line appeared on my retina display. In the support office told that the display must be changed. I´m not aggree. This is a really expensive machine. I want a new one.
I went and got my LG display replaced at the Apple Store in Pentagon City for the first time on Thursday. Came back with a Samsung Display on Friday. Genius immediately tested the problem, recognized it, appointment was on time. Too bad it doesn't seem this seamless for everyone else right now...
