When emailing photos from iPhoto I get a message saying the email server did not recognise my username or password combination.

I have a few questions

1.What is the domain of your email? (Example: @me.com)

2.Have you recently changed your password?

3.Are you able to send regular emails normally using the Mail application and when signed in to the original website server? (example: www.hotmail.com)

one more question to make sure I provide correct information:

What version of iPhoto do you have? (ex. '08 '11, etc)

Have you migrated from Mobile Me to iCloud? if you have you will need to enter the new servers/credentials into iPhoto. iPhoto>Preferences>Accounts

As I said before, iPhoto>Preferences>Accounts, if the account in there is the Mobile Me account remove it and replace it with your iCloud account.

Then change your password at the iCloud site and enter the new password in your iCloud devices.

www.icloud.com is the site, only you know what devices you have connectedto iCloud but think iPhones, iPads, Mac etc

I found that by turning of the SSL option at the bottom of the Accounts panel did the trick.

If you are replying to me, what on earth are you talking about?

Apparently I got the same error re username and password and when I checked the they were fine but still iPhoto would give me the same error so I tried switching off the SSL option and it worked.
