I'm trying to set up a Mac Mini as a home server and am having some trouble.
I am connecting via DHCP with a manual IP address.
In the Airport Utility, I mapped the needed ports, but when ever I set the "Enable Default Host" to the manual IP address I created for my computer, I am disconnected from the internet.
What am I doing wrong??

Configuring Port Mapping and a Default Host are mutually exclusive. You will either want one or the other. The former restricts access from the Internet to the ports you specify; the latter opens all ports to the device on the local network. What Apple calls a Default Host is the same thing as DMZ.
Thanks, though it still isn't working. For some reason whenever I set up my computer as the default host there is no internet access. I've tried deleting all the other port settings and switching on and off NAT Port Mapping.
What type of server are you trying to configure your Mac mini for? Is it running a server version of OS X?
