how do i make the top row of keys like the play and pause and the up and down volume keys work with my g5 like they work just it justhe what they do is not what is says on the jey

apple wireless blustooth one it the newest keybord all has for sell i just bought a week ago
i just done the update and it is still not working right

Every time Apple releases of newer version of the aluminum wired and wireless keyboard, they change the OS X version it works with as well as have different software updaters for them.
It's ridiculous!
Plus, I noted that the newer version of the aluminum wireless Bluetooth keyboard now needs OS X 10.6.8 as its minimum OS X, now, while the updater I linked for the OP says the update can be used on a system with OS X10.5.8 or higher.
So there is conflicting info on which version of OS X the new Bluetooth keyboards need to run on.
The OP may be having issues because he/she is only running OS X 10.5.8 instead of OS X10.6.8

no i dont sorry but i see things geting better with mountion lion comeing out this summer ever thing is going into one and i kinda like that i mean cause i was a pc user and i just felt like i was going to dye so i went out and bought a mac and it changed my life and im still useing a quad core g5 that is fast as the day i got it
Still using my Quad G5 every day also a Quadra/630 & Ataris... & what do you expect from ML???
I certainly could understand it if you wanted to limit your computer to being able to operate & be limited to what an iPod can do, but beyond that I predict the death of computers as "useful". 🙂
