keyboard shortcut to shutdown macbook pro

I just purchased a retina display MacBook Pro and just realized that since it does not have a SuperDrive, the keyboard shortcut to sleep and shut it down don't work since there isn't an eject button. Is there a new key combination to sleep and shut it down?

MacBook Pro with Retina display, Mac OS X (10.7.4)

I just found out that pressing the function (fn) key and the power button calls up a dialog box where you can choose to sleep or shut down (shut down is the default when you press return.

No need to press the fn key. Just press the power button and you will get that window with all those options.

There used to be a keyboard command that would shutdown WITHOUT showing a window with choices or asking you to confirm. I loved it! When you knew you wanted to shutdown, you could hit the keys and walk away. It was COMMAND-OPTION-CONTROL-EJECT. Now that the MacBook Pro's don't have an eject key, you can't do it. You could also do COMMAND-CONTROL-EJECT to restart without window, choices or anything. I'm going to keep looking for a way to do this, even if I have to make my own script/key shortcut!

For a quick shutdown, I have been pressing "control + Power" and then hit "enter/return". (long-press of "Power button" and "enter" works also)

"control + Power" does not work if I have certain programs open.

For no wakeup sound at next powerup, I try to remember to press "fn + F10" to mute speaker before shutdown.
