Low quality warning on a photo in a photobook. I understand the warning but I still want to go ahead with my design, will it get printed or will the page be deleted?
You can go ahead but Apple will not guarentee sastification with that photo - I have done it and been ok even though the print quality is lower than photos without the warning
Sorry 1 further question please..
the pixel width is 1,076 and heigth is 793 and I want to have this photo as a background in a 13 x 10 inch book
Will this be ok?
OK is a personal decision -- 83 DPI is very low - the quality warning comes on below 180 DPI - I would consider palcing the photo in a smaller photo frame rather than a full page photo
How did you work out it's 83 DPI ???
I have fixed my problem by printing the photo (the original was really small) a larger size, re-scanned & cropped it. Now it must have a larger DPI as i no longer have the warning !!!
1076 pixels (dots) divided by 13 inches = 82.769230769 Dots per Inch (DPI)
To avoid the warning the photos needs to be 180x13 = 2340 Pixels wide
