after updating to iLife '11, I cannot open my iphoto application

I've tried trouble shooting suugestions, but afger upgrading to iLife 11, I can no longer access iphoto. It tells me to update software. I;ve checked for updates and updated and installed all software...

iPhoto '11, Mac OS X (10.6.8)

Well if you have tried everything then there iis no solution

Maybe if you told us exactly what you have done you could have missed the one that works

Have you done the one that almost always works - backup your iPhoto library and download and apply the 9.1 update?
