Q: How do I activate personal hotspot in iPad 3 from Globe Telecom (Philippines)?

You will have to contact Globe and ask them if they offer Personal Hotspot as part of their iPad data plan, and if they do, sign up for the service if it's an optional addition to your plan. Then the Personal Hotspot option should appear in your iPad's settings.

Hi! Just went to globe telecom today then applied for prepaid Internet. I encountered the same problem with the personal hotspot. The globe people keep telling me that IPad 3 don't have personal hotspot capability when I asked them if they supported that feature. So naturally I did my own research then came acrossed here. Regarding hotspot for Smart, I also asked their staffs and they were not also sure about it. I bought smart micro sim and will find out about it myself again.

hello kahit ano gawin mo they cannot allowed prepaid sim for personal hotspot i already ask globe only postpaid simcard allowed to use personal hostpot i suggest buy ka nlng ng pocket wifi then dun ka mag unli surf im sure effective i've already try it

naka postpaid kba or prepaid only postpaid sim is allowed to use personal hotspots

pag naka postpaid ka u can use  ur personal hotspot

Tawag ka sa globe telecom o pumunta ka ng branch o kaya naman baka meron kang kilala na meron iphone any iphone or ipad na nakakapag personal hotspot gamit ang globe prepaid,check mo yung APN settings nila icopy mo lahat sa ipad mo,pag iphone go to settings>>Cellular>>>cellular setting or APN settings. magagamit mo na yung personal hotspot mo.. enjoy :)
