Q: How to erase all of the data on a used imac

Can someone please tell me how to start over with a used iMac? I want it back to the out of box condition. Thanks. TV

A:

Insert the Install DVD and restart your computer while holding the C key
Select your language and hit the next arrow at the bottom
When you see a menu at the top select Utilities and then Disk Utility
Highlight the hard disk disk on the left of the screen
Select Erase
Proceed with installation

Welcome to Apple Communities

1. Boot from the DVD that came with your computer pressing C key
2. Go to Utilities > Disk Utility, select your hard drive and select Erase tab formatting the partition
3. Close Disk Utility and install Mac OS X

Not enough information. Does a link exist that would give me better detailed instructions? I am new to the iMac world, and have no experience with these issues.
