How do i know if i have an iCloud account?

What if my iphone screen is broken and i want to check if my icloud is on before i do a factory reset on the iphone?? I plugged my iphone 4s to my mac and i couldn't find icloud under system preferences. What do i do??

Did you sign up for one?

If you go to Settings>iCloud are you signed in?

On a browser go to icloud.com and sign in and then see contacts, calendar are there. If not then iCloud is not on.

For iCloud a Mac you need OSX 10.7.4 or later
