How to reset...purge all songs from 5th ten iPod nano
Trying to start over again with iPod nano 5th gen. Have reset it but we continually get a error 1430. How can I wipe it clean and start over. thanks

Just found out this device was originally on a windows machine. How do I wipe it and start over on a Mac?
Restore it on the Mac.

Well then something else is wrong because it wont let me. Keeps coming up with an error that it was unplugged the wrong way and the error above. I've tried resetting the iPod,closing all and reopening, changing usb ports. Seems like there needs to be a way to wipe the nano clean then the errors would go away before I plug into iTunes. Any thoughts?
