Everything was working fine till I updated to Lion OS. It tells me I don't even have Logic installed on my computer but I do and all the icons are in the same place but still not working. How can this be fixed?
iMac, Mac OS X (10.7.4)
Actually it says that I cant use this version of Logic with this version of Mac OS but when I try to update Logic It says I don't have Logic installed.
Make sure Logic Looks like this in your Applications Folder
Also... go here http://support.apple.com/kb/DL1014 and download and Install the Latest Update...
Be sure to Restart your Mac after the Install...
Thank you for your response but I'm a bit of a noob. Mline looks like "Logic Pro 9.0.0" . How do I change it?
Thank you for all of your suggestions. I changed the file name to Logic Pro. i think I did it right. I'm still getting this message when I try to update "An eligible Logic Pro version was not found in the Applications folder. This update requires Logic Pro version 9.0 or higher". I don't know what to do now. I guess I'm stuck in the muck.
When you Upgraded to Lion did you Reinstall Logic from the Original Discs...
If not, would recommend that you Delete Logic and Reinstall.
Dont have the disk. I guess I have to cough up 200 bucks.
hey i have the newest 27 inch mac....just installed logic studio and most of its fine...but it wont up logic pro 9 and it sais "you cant use this version of the application logic pro with this version of mac os x...can anyonew help???

Control-click on the logic pro icon in applications and hit "show contents" / contents / macos
I've used this terminal operated open logic command for a day and after a while the logic pro icon worked fine. *shrugs*
