Is it possible to change the codec setting to none in Final Cut Pro X? I know it was possible in FCP 7 with sequence settings. Am I not seeing it in the FCP X or is just not there anymore? Thanks.

Are you talking about render settings or export? There's an uncompressed setting.
I'm asking about export settings. I've tried the uncompressed codec and the animation codec but I can't use them because their compressing my videos too much and creating too much aliasing/shimmering. I make videos of highly detailed images, and the only way I was able to get video without artifacts was with when I set the codec to none. Thanks for responding though. Sorry it took me a year and a half to answer back haha.
None is no longer available. Uncompressed should should zero artifacting if properly displayed.
