Yes, it is a US English keyboard.
They just put the wrong key cap on right? Still functions as a volume up key. F2 vs F12, you'd think the assembly robots would know the difference.. 😁
Yup, still works as a volume up key. It's just discomforting every time I see it. It seems almost unthinkable to receive an imperfect Apple product straight from the factory!
I'm sure a call to Applecare or visit to the local store would solve the problem. They can just pop the keycap off and put the proper one on.
Thanks captfred. Yes, I'm sure they will certainly pop a new keycap on my computer. I just don't feel right having a "remedied" key pad. Why should it even have to be "remedied" at all. I might just keep the flawed keycap just to keep my computer in "factory" condition. Even if it is a bit flawed!!!! At least it still functions completely. At least I can easily tell which is my computer from its key pad!
