turn off voice
Screen is freezing. responds randomly and voice is on.

To turn voice off see VoiceOver of:
iPhone: Configuring accessibility features (including VoiceOver and Zoom)
Then try the standard fixes:
- Reset'
Reset iPod touch: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Restore from backup
- Restore to factory defaults/new iPod.
