where there are now 100 posts on the same topic. No answers yet, but hopefully this thread will learn of the answer when it comes and in the meantime if you add your name to the list of those with the problem it might increase the chance of Apple / O2 doing something about it.
There are also some threads now appearing on the O2 forum.

If the latter, it's quite common that you need to update the carrier settings.
