cannot boot into mac after windows istallation

HI,

I just bought macbook pro i5-2.4G-13".

Using boot camp i have installed windows 7, after windows installed i booted in windows and installed boot camp utilities for driver support.

I had Two partitions, i gave mac 300 and windows 200 GB.

After the installation i tried to shrink the partition of windows to 100 each.

I did that sucessfully.

Rebooted the machine, there you go blue screen of windows, with recovery i tried several time to recover it. No use.

Now i wanted to boot in mac i cannot do.

I tried Option+R and Option +R+P no use. I cannot boot into mac. ( I assume when i reseized the partiotion somehow driver letter changed).

With Option+R i get to see" Starting Internet recovery....) does not go beyond that.

I did not get CD or Flash from the store where i bought the device.

What are my options ???

I think i can simply erase all and install windows7 Only.

But that kills the purpose of buying this machine.

I need mac too for a specific purpose.

Please help.

You have a laptop, not a Mac Pro, with Windows and Boot Camp (and now Lion) issue.

Macs don't come with a DVD, they can do a network install.

Why did you shrink the partition? that has a number of side effects and there are programs for resizing but not to shrink and add an extra partition. A Mac running Winidows is not the same as it would be on a PC, you already are tricking Windows into using MBR on a system with EFI and GPT already.

Option = Mac boot device manager to select where to boot from

x = attempt boot Mac OS X if possible

WinClone 3.0 www.twocanoes.com Windows backup image for OS X to restore (to an external hard drive). runs in OS X and can resize partitions,

for Windows only Paragon CampTuneX Paragon has tools that are Apple friendly and support Boot Camp, NTFS, HFS.

If you don't need to run Windows natively, it is very simple to just set up a VM with one of those. Some let you still dual boot or run as a Guest OS under OS X.
