cant install windows support software becasue its not currently available from teh Software update server

OK, BC is installed win 7 running, i have back into BC assistant to try downloading the Win Spt SW, i still get the same server error over and over
Be patient. The download server is notoriously slow.

This has been a continuing problem since the MacBook Air dropped the optical drive and was compounded by the OS X 10.7 lack of an install DVD. It is part of the "Hurry up and wait" support program for BootCamp.
Me too cannot download Boot Camp drivers from updateserver.
PS: This text means: 'The software can not be installed because currently the updateserver is not available.'
Now finally I was able to install Windows 7 Professional German 64 Bit on a USB 3.0 with no error on MacBook Pro Retina 15" Haswell late 2013. So what have I done? I reinstalled Mac OS X Mavericks! I am currently now installing Windows...... I am going to make a image after a successful install ;-)
