What does - record iframe 720p - mean in the settings for i-Movie

Question

when I tap on iMovie inside General -> Settings

There is a column on the right hand side - looks like this :

Record iframe 720p ON/OFF option

By any chance can it be related to recording off the screen of my i-pad ?

if not, can anyone please explain what it means. Thank you in advance.

This allows you to record video using the iMovie app, at a higher quality then the standard camera app.

You cannot record the screen of the iPad.
