turn preview off

I made a mistake when I said preview was opening all my documents.

I used your advise and have word set up to open all documents but now I realize that Word is the program opening a stream of my documents when I open a Word document attached to an email.

The screen goes into a stream from left to right all the recent documents I have opened.

I would prefer to just open the document I clicked on. Thanks for your help.

Sorry that did not work either.

Each time I open Word it still streams thru a number of documents.

When closing Word it does it in reverse.

Any other ideas?

It did not do that in the begining. Would deleting and re install word be a good idea?

I did find the answer.

I changed Word to "open" in Galery. That stopped the flowing documents and allows you to open one document at a time or create a new document.
