Q: Just downloaded ......says can not read I Tunes Library as I tunes is new version????????????

What IS this.....just had my computer re formated. I needed to download ITunes again....now I can't even open it>>>>>>says I Tunes Library can't be read...because of new version. This makes NO sense at all.......I was using the same version before I had my compuer fixed. Any suggestions??
