How do I add the 'review book' option?
Some iBooks I have seen have at the end a section which displays stars and a link which opens up the "review" slide out for the book. How do I add it using iBook author?

...not sure what you're after, sorry.
Can you screenshot an example and put it here, thanks.

This link shows a screenshot of what appears to be a standard "rating" widget for iBooks
It doesn't appear that any of that author's books were made using iBooks Author. They seem to have created a button that links something outside of the books, such as going to the store, etc.
If you intend to use iBA, you can include a link in your book that takes the reader to your book(s) in the store...they can then choose to rate.
If that sounds like something you could use, see http://itunes.apple.com/linkmaker/
The link only takes you to the page in the store...this particular link would actually pull up on the ipad the form for reviewing....
I am guessing it is some kind of javascript. If we could find it, is there some way to add that to the ibook author document?
You can try to add JS to an HTML (DashCode) Widget...
It's in loads of different books by different publishers - maybe it's a standard widget produced by one of the companies that turn print books into iBooks. I wish I could find and use it in iBooks Author too...
Did anyone ever come up with a solution to this? I am also tryng to find out how to add "Rate this book", Tell a friend", "Write a review" and "Other books by..." to the last page of an EPUB book. I have found the options in books that I know is EPUB (and not .ibooks) format - so it can't be an iBooks Author only feature.
