Locking Volume for Playback?

I'm working on playing Keyboards for "Spring Awakening" - I have some patches with an instrument and a triggered playback track - I want to be able to lock the volume of the Playback track while still being able to use my volume pedal with the EXS24 instrument. Is this possible?
