No HDMI Port

Hi All,

I am amazed that there is no HDMI port on the MacBook Pro, how can I get around this? I want to hook my MacBook up to my TV.

Thanks in advance. 😕

Kindest regards,

Les

Assuming that you have a MacBook Pro with a Thunderbolt or Mini Display port, you can use this from monoprice adapter for connecting HDMI devices. At less than $7, it won't break the bank and it works quite well.

Good luck,

Les,

Do you know your model number? If you go to the  menu and select "About This Mac," and then "More Info," you should see your model - something like (in my case) "MacBook Pro - Late 2011". The user manual should also show the Thunderbolt or MiniDisplay port on the left hand side of the computer.

Let me know and I'll tell you if the adapter will work.

Clinton
