A friend came by with a disk with some songs he downloaded off the internet. He wanted me to help him a little in learning about GB.
All 3 of the songs gave me the same prompt ..... 128 tracks ... exceeds GB max ... You can change in GB preferences ..
I can't !! .... LOL Anyone have an idea what's up with this ?

What was the format of the songs? Midi, mp3, aiff, ....? Or GarageBand project files?
Sorry I didn't say. It was Midi ..... have no clue what program made them.

That is what I suspected. There are some midi files that you simply cannot open in GarageBand, and some midi files really have that many tracks.
Not what I wanted to hear ...... But thanks ... hope you got my solved point's ...
