it's not working, my itouch freezes on the main menu "unlock" i did these steps but it just won't do. what should i do?

i have tried to do the "recovery mode" but it still won't do the trick. it is connected to the itunes but the screen keeps freezes. im trying to restoring it now, but the screen still freezes, is it normal?
