Just No? I'm trying to get hotmail to recognize my macbook, which it always has and it will only do so through IE
what about spoof mode?
You can try changing Safari's User Agent in the Develop menu so that it presents itself as Internet Explorer.
Technically, there is a way that the Mac version of IE can be run under Lion, but it's very expensive; you'd probably find it better to use the Windows version of it or just give up.

The other reason to find something else is that IE Mac hasn't been updated in almost ten years. It can't even render these Apple forums properly becasue it lacks modern technologies.
My children have Hotmail accounts and Macs and seem to be able to use it without issue.
If you are using Safari without success you can certainly try something else, like FireFox or Camino. One daughter has Comcast as an ISP and cannot access all their functions with Safari but can with FireFox.

Where is the Develop menu? there is a webpage with an online form I need to access and it only accept Internet Explorer....go figure?
