guest user password

hi, im new to mac from windows. i might have messed up with the users setting.


it shows guest user with a blank (password) in every start up, how should i indentify my guest user password on my mac? and i only can access into safari 😟

You have activated "Find My Mac." What you see is the Safari-only "Guest User" login, which is not really a login at all but a pointer into the recovery partition. There is no password, as it would defeat the purpose. The Guest User is a trap for thieves to fool them into connecting the stolen computer to a network so you can locate it, and then fast-rope through the window from a black helicopter to recover your property.

Simplest, IMO, is to use System Preferences->Users & Groups, delete the guest account, and then recreate it with an appropriate password.
