My contact list literally up and disappeared yesterday, but I can still view my favorites and recent calls. Siri even recocognizes my contacts when I tell her to call someone, so I know they're still on my phone somewhere. Any idea how to get them back?
I did enable my iCloud prior around the time they went missing. I've restored my iPhone from a previous backup and still nothing.
iPhone 4S, iOS 5.1.1
Open the Contacts apps and select Groups.
Select All Contacts.
Do the contacts now appear?

Check to see that iCloud contacts are turned on. I had the same issue and found that when I turned them back on (turned off by themselves) my contacts reappeared.
