older powerbook with iPhone 4?

Is there a way to make my iPhone 4 work with iTunes 9.2.1 and os 10.4.11?

iPhone 4, iOS 4.2, powerbook G4

You will need to upgrade the operating system to at least 10.5.8 to be able to run the latest iTunes which will work with a brand new phone. While this can be done on a Powerbook, we will need more details about the computer to see if it is possible and how much it would cost. 10.5 is neither easy to find nor cheap and if you have to update hardware components too it may be better to think about getting a newer computer.


Get more information about your computer. Go to the Apple in the upper left corner of any window, then "About This Mac", then "More Info..." Copy and paste the information here, but omit the serial number and Hardware UUID (if present).
