ios 5 video problems (play button hide/show)

Anyone noticed that after starting a show from the videos app, that once the scroll bar and play/pause buttons disappear they don't come back?

After I start a video I can tap the screen to hide the scroll bar and play button but no matter how many times I tap the screen after that it won't come back. Only way to stop play is to hit the home button.

The hide/show tapping works fine when I watch videos on netflix so I know it's not a problem with the screen.

iPhone 4s, ios 5.

Thats an issue with your phone

Follow basic troubleshooting found in your user Guide for your phone.

If it's an issue with the phone why does the hide/show work fine with netfix and youtube?

Extactly, so if two other apps operate just fine. That leads me to think the problem is with the third app (videos), not the phone. If the problem was the phone it wouldn't operate correctly in all three apps. Especially since it's the 3rd party apps, not part of the ios that function properly.

Well it is the phone because the app is malfunctioning. That is the device that you are requesting support for.

Perform a reset. if issue persists to a restore.
