Q: my powerbook G4 my display screen mounts on both sides broke, now screens just hangin on by the wires. Is there replacements for display screen hinges?

Hinges 4 my powerbook G4 both sides...ouch ya you know its all bad....

    Not cheap, unfortunately, but they do work and are relatively easy to replace, if you are careful.  The replacements are steel, as opposed to aluminum, and are thus considerably stronger.  I put a couple into one of my TiBooks last year and they are working just fine now.

     

    Dang!  Just looked at the page a little closer and see that they have dropped the price for a pair of hinges from when I bought mine.
