Jul 9, 2012 1:52 AM in response to RHYH1997by Kenichi Watanabe,Normally, even if the switch is ON, you should be able to do a Restore on the iPod (using iTunes). So, I would try doing that, from the iPod's Summary tab in iTunes. It will erase the iPod, but more importantly in this case, re-install the latest software set to default settings.
Hopefully, you have all the music in your iTunes library, because if Restore works, you can just re-sync the iPod.
