Hey, I have the mid 2010 21.5" iMac and I wanted to know what I would need to connect it to my Vizio XVT423SV 42" Full HD 1080p LED LCD HDTV. I would like to use my T.V for Movies and if possible gaming. I already have an HDMI Cable but there isnt an HDMI port on my Mac so i know i need a different wire. Im hoping through here someone can help me find something affordable.

You've got most of what you need, all that remains is a Mindisplay port to HDMI adapter like this one:

Plug this in to a MiniDisplay port or Thunderbolt port and connect the HDMI cable.

I already bought the minidisplay port to HDMI adapter but when i connect them all to my mac, it doesnt seem to be connected on my TV. Also, on the display settings, there is no arrangment tab to show the mirroring display
