Iphone 4, repaired product return pending?

Deal All,

Not sure if I am in the correct section or not but just need to clarify one question if someone could shed some light on it please.

I sent my iphone 4 to Apple care (Postal service) for repair/replacement as it had very poor signal most of the times(next to non really) and after checking the status today it shows product repaired and repaired produt return pending?

My question is that does apple actually carry out any repair in these days? What I have had heard and seen on different chat forums that apple care most replace the faulty items straight away. I actually have not seen a single example anywhere when apple has repaired an iphone 4 recently!

Any thoughts and/or experience please?

Apple almost always replaces a defective iPhone; they do not repair the user's returned unit. My guess is that it's just the boilerplate phrasing being used, but you can call Apple support and confirm what it is they will do. Perhaps they were able in some way to correct the problem on your unit without having to replace it.

Regards.
