Q: Apple TV (2nd and 3rd generation): Downloading Purchased movies

Hello,

I purchased Monty Python's Life of Brian via my third generation Apple TV yesterday (7/8/12) andthe dialog box indicated I could download it to my iTunes on my computer as well. When I checked for available downloads under the iTunes Store menu it says that I have no downloads available despite never downloading this particular movie. How do I download this purchase. Do I somehow transfer this via home sharing?

You can re-download content purchased from the iTunes store (availability varies depending on location) using the purchased option from the Quick Links section in the top right corner of the iTunes homepage in your iTunes application on your computer.

There is now a new menu item in the iTunes Store screen on the right hand side labeled "purchased." Clickin g on this will take you to a new screen within iTunes with iCloud download icons.
