Creating Data Forms in Numbers version for IOS

My question is specific to Numbers for iPad: I have created a table in a worksheet that contains both text and numbers. I now wish to continue to fill out the sheet by creating a data form. However the + tab is not giving me the option to select "new sheet" or "new form". It simply creates a new blank sheet. Oddly enough the tutorial file the comes with the application gives me the option of selecting "new sheet" or "new form" so I know it can be done. I suspect that this is a user error and not a bug in the application. Any guidance as to what I might be doing wrong would be greatly appreaciated. Thank you.

Hi Dana. Make sure that the data fields that you want to create the form for are in the very top "header" row. For example, if the fields were "Name" and "Age", make sure Name is in one cell in the header row and that Age is next to it. Then try the + worksheet tab and see if you get the New Form option as well. Hope this works for you. Graeme
