How can I add descriptions to my events in ical?

Double-click the event and click the Edit button.

Sorry, in the edit box it is labelled note.

Austin is there anyway to add customization to this pop-up? i want to add more than one url or an additional line for phone numbers.

There's no customisation (unless added in Lion) but you can put as many urls as you want in the note section. You can also put phone numbers there.

Thank you for your reply. I was just hoping about customization-i do currently put the phone numbers and web address in the notes area but was wishing i could add more lines.

i looked under the description for the upcoming Mountain Lion but did not see this feature listed under the upgrades for ICal.
