no matter what I do, I can't produce a tilde diacritical over the n when typing in Spanish. I hold the n and select the tilde but only other letters appear such as j or I instead of the diacritical I wish. Pls help
You mean this "ñ"?
Which of the keyboards are you using? (Check it in Settings, General, International)
Am using Spanish keyboard, although I notice that the tilde is available on English keyboard, too. I just can't make it appear over my n as you are able to do so nicely!

I have tried the English keyboard and the Spanish keyboard. Pls tell me step by step how you make the diacritical appear over the letter. Tx.
Hold the letter, the selections come up, select the one you want.
The Spanish key board includes the ñ as a seperate key. I've checked every variation of the English key board I can find. All seem to work.
Perhaps you should try a reset.
