I can't restore my 4th Gen nano - i get error 1413. Anyone know what to do?

This is my daughters old ipod that she no longer wants. When plugged into my computer (i have my own itunes / apple id) the ipod can be seen but when i click the restore button, it cannot restore, citing error 1413. I have been unable to find this error on the help pages. I have followed the advice to upgrade all software, reboot, use different usb etc, but to no avail. I cannot find menus in itunes to log on as my daughter, and the computer she used to set up the ipod no longer functions. Can anyone tell me how i can restore this? Do i have to get her apple id authorised on my computer? How to i change to a different user so that i can log on as her?
